Guidelines for Presentations

Important notes:

We have been monitoring the situation evolving around COVID-19 closely, and the conference have to be conducted in 100% virtual environment due to movement restrict order by the government of Malaysia. With this, we will utilize Airmeet (https://www.airmeet.com) as our Virtual Conference Platform. Presentations will be recorded with live Q&A.

Any accepted paper included in the technical program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy attend and present the paper at the conference. Thus, if you are not able to present during the conference, we kindly ask the speakers to record their presentations in advance and share the videos with the host (icira2020@gmail.com) prior to the conference. The accepted papers included in the final technical program which are not presented at the conference will be added to a “No-Show List”. The “No-Show” papers will not be published by Springer. but these papers will be distributed as part of the electronic proceedings and the Copyright form that the authors submitted will still be valid.

Below are the guidelines for Oral and Spotlight presentations.

Oral Presentations (For papers accepted as oral presentation and all special sessions’ papers)

  1. The presenter must arrive at the respective virtual session (Airmeet links can be found from the “Program at glance”) 15 minutes before your session begins and report to the session chair(s).
  2. Each paper takes about 30 minutes. We recommend that you will take about 25 minutes for your presentation and leave around 4 minutes of Q&A and 1 min for change over.
  3. You are required to share your screen during your presentation to show your slides.

Spotlight Presentations (For papers accepted as Spotlight presentation)

  1. The presenter must arrive at the respective virtual session (Airmeet links can be found from the “Program at glance”) 15 minutes before your session begins and report to the session chair(s).
  2. Each paper takes about 20 minutes. We recommend that you will take about 15 minutes for your presentation and leave around 4 minutes of Q&A and 1 min for change over.
  3. You are required to share your screen during your presentation to show your slides.
